Erika Knight – British Blue Wool – Fingering

This is the finer version of British Blue 100, 100% British wool from the Bluefaced Leicester sheep. Considered Britain’s most luxurious fibre, the wool of this breed is supremely soft due to the long-staple fibres which are worsted spun to create a fine, lightweight yarn that is low pilling and hard-wearing. Known for its lustre, this wool has a subtle sheen for excellent stitch definition due to its densely curled fleece and takes dye extremely well for a vibrant, shimmering effect.
The raw wool of course is sourced in Great Britain. It is dyed and spun in our favourite mill in Turkey.
