OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHooray! Signs of spring on its way, even if we do keep dipping back into the really chilly days, (lots of budding going on in the garden!!)  It’s so wonderful when the sun shines, lifts the spirits.  Talking of wonderful I have just come back from the Knitting & Stitching Trade Show in Birmingham.  My goodness it was amazing, so many wools and fabrics and cross stitch kits and beads and trims (how do you choose!!!) Not to mention all the papercrafting stands (tried to keep my eyes well averted from those).

Any way I did order some great new products which hopefully will be @ Owl Tree Crafts very soon.  Here’s a few pictures taken at the Show!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOn the bead front I found some great new mixes of the Myuki size 8 seed beads and ordered many more Kumihimo Disks as these are still selling like hot cakes (let me know if you would like a demonstration or check out my website for the tutorial on there).

I found some beautiful little special occasion cross stitch kits and a whole box full of Tatty Teddy mini kits!

Adriafil have a fabulous new summer cotton called Kimera which I have ordered along with a few more summery colours in the Stella Jacq with plain colours to co-ordinate.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAnd Great News I have sourced some lovely little bundles of fat quarters for all you quilting fans with designs from owls to cupcakes and Nautical to spots and stripes.  These probably will not be @ Owl Tree Crafts until April!! But something to look forward to.

Red Nose Day

Owl Tree crafts is supporting Comic Relief this year.  Some of our fantastic Knit and Natterers and Craft and Chatters have been busy knitting fingerless mitts to sell for the charity so come along and purchase your pair (give your hands a treat and you might even be able to still knit with them on!)  On the actual day there may even be the odd cupcake around to feast upon and various other goodies to purchase.

We now have in stock the full range of colours in the gorgeous Opium Palette and it’s the same price as the plain colours!!  Baby Cherish has also arrived and at the show I was shown the new colours and the plain colours to co-ordinate which I will be ordering shortly.  Mum is knitting up a sample and has said it’s absolutely beautiful to knit with!
