January – Newsletter/Blog
OK, here we go, my first ever Newsletter/Blog (this could take a while especially as I have lost my first draft!) I think that once you commit your thoughts to paper that’s it they are off your mind, now I just can’t remember what I wrote!!
Several people (especially my Son Gareth) have been telling me I need to get ‘with it’ and write a blog so this newsletter can double up as my first blog (a bit of a cheat I know) and then hopefully I may ‘blog’ about once a week and issue a newsletter every couple of months (or once a month if I have time!!) (you will have to get used to my exclamation marks and brackets, I definitely over use them!!!!!!!!!).
Now I had better get some news into this Newsletter. I have some great yarns in my sale at the moment:
Wendy Aran with Wool 400g Was £10.40 now £7.99
Wendy Mode DK 50gm Was £2.45 now £1.95

I have also seen a fantastic new summer yarn from Wendy which is a blend of cotton and silk with a gorgeous marled effect (this yarn will be released later in the spring)
All of the above will be gradually filtering into the shop over the next few months!!
Next month I will be attending the Knit & Stitch Trade Show in Birmingham to seek out new and wonderful products for Owl Tree Crafts and all my fantastic customers (and me of course).
I have added a few lines in the Haberdashery Department including grosgrain ribbon, cotton bias binding, hemming web and Taylors Chalk. I also have a selection of Tartan Ribbons for all of you who celebrate Burns Night!
Kumihimo is still going down a storm and I thought I would let you know S-Lon Thread and the big eye needles are now on their way to Owl Tree Crafts.
Signing off now to get on with some knitting (what a hardship!) Hopefully I will add some photo’s next time.
Jo
Look forward to seeing you soon!
